You don't remember the Lindberg 1/20 scale kits? They did quite a few before they stopped recently and started building battery powered hopper cars. These kits (SUVs) were released around 1996 and included Ford, Chevy and GMC pick-ups and SUVs. I remember the "Bay Watch" rescue pick-up truck molded in yellow too.Quoted TextI'm not young enough to know everything
You know, I'm really starting to doubt that your quote is true...... maybe you are young enough
Lindberg did several JP models to include the movie T-Rex and Raptor, both of which can still be picked up in the "Skillcraft" boxings in the hobby shops. They also boxed several ancient dinosaur kits (stegasaurus and a cornithsaurs-something) in JP boxes. The movie dinos were nice kits that looked just like the movie creatures. Horizon did some top-notch dinos in vinyl too.
Revell-Monogram got the license for JP2 and they put out a Hummer based on their current Hummer chassis, it was a 2-door with a cage in the rear and had a pivoting clamp to capture a dino and swing-away seats. They also made the SUV and the T-rex and Raptor set. The T-Rex and Raptor bases could be connected to form a dio. All of these kits were snap-tite and were on the clearance shelves at Toy Liquidators and K-B Toy outlets last year for $4.99.
No kits for JP 3.
