After looking more in details to the German pages and thank to my colleague,
Trumpeter just present a Scracth version of the trumpeter not the production one.

I hope this clarify the situation

Old news im afraid! Although still good news! Apparently the kit will be out around september, so still a long time to wait and judging by the fact they have only got a scratch built model done it still has a lot of development.

Greatmodels.com is taking pre-orders on this kit now. I saw it there yesterday. But still, no one truely knows when the kit will be out until it is actually released.

It will be out sometime around September? Well it will beat Dragon's release of the M1A1AIM then :-)

I wonder if the finished kit will come with the anti-RPG 'slat' armor? If it does, I hope it's not molded in with the rest of the parts, as that would be a b(bleep)ch to get out of there. *Shudders, remembering the bustle racks on his Tamiya M1A1 and Trumpeter M1A2 kits*
