Hello Everyone

It is not often that I get shocked any more in the model world but then I haven't brought any of Legends stowage sets( Lav, M113 and Bradley) before. I have to say that these sets have so much stuff in them, I couldn't really put it all on one model.

I have brought the Verlinden modern stowage sets and there okay but if I had brought the legend ones first I wouldn't have needed the Verlinden ones. The stowage is well thought of and put together. I like the way they have molded a number of items together, so they look more realistic.

In the bradley set you also get the stowage rack that goes on the side but it is already molded with the stuff inside. It kind of reminds me of the Blast stowage sets.

These sets I would say are great, no air bubbles, plenty of gear and items that I have not seen done before eg. Tarp with shovel pressed in and rope around all molded together.

I have no connection with Legend at all ,I brought these of ebay. Just have a look on the Legend site.

Thanka Paul.

I have the LAV storage set, it certainly does come with a lot of stuff. All nicely cast, and I didn't spot any pin holes or air-bubbles on mine. I just wish they would have included a spare tire...... one lousy spare tire for those that really can't afford the addition cost of another set of after-market tires. (May come as a shock to the manufactures, but not everyone is made of money)
Since I rarely do modern armour, and I'm certainly not that knowledgeable of the new equipment, I can't say how well, or accurate it is. But there sure is enough of it to give a nice busy, lived in look to your LAV.

Hi Dave

I agree, I know I didn't see it on the the front box art but I was kind of hoping for the spare too. I brought the hobby fan set a while back and have made some copies ( just for me , not for sale :-) ) and I will just file out the inner sectoin or put a back pack strapped to the front of it .

Oh yeah the resin camo nets are a nice touch as well as the barbed wire provided. I too can not speak of the 100% correctness of parts but they look fine to me.

I know in 1/72 scale, the Legend stowage set makes the Verlinden one useless except as a massive heap in the back of a cargo truck.

I recently bought the M-113 OIF stowage set, and was amazed at the quantity of items in there. You also get two small frets of PE for the racks. Very good resin castings, and excellent value. Much better than the "extra's" in Tamiya's kit, and better than Verlinden as well, very nice

I don't know the details on this but I got an email from Lucky Models saying there were offering free shipping on Legend products. If anybody is interested in getting any it might be worth looking into.
