Some high strangeness from Japan. Buy random components, swap them with your mates and finally snap together a Tiger.

Yes, the 1/144th "trading market" is huge in Japan. Many if not all of the Takara 1/144th micro tanks are sold in "blind" boxes with that nasty chewing gum.

Lucky for us that DML sells their Can.Do in the west in "open boxes" so you don't end up with "dubs" of a certain version.

For the interior, it looks like they scaled down the Academy kit. Which is a shame because they inherit all its problems.

I understand the premise, the only question is, are there 2 tanks or only one in the box. $54 for a 48th scale tank is a little high in my scheme of thinking. Now with 2, I would say it's a pretty good deal. The "risk" you are taking is that you might get two of the same kit.

Good question. They say:

"One box contains sections for any two complete sets of Tiger I out of these three paint schemes."

I assume that means you actually get two?

And they have full interiors, and are assembled and painted ... the second part not being my cup of tea, but that does add to the nominal value of the item.
