I have the Dragon T-34/85 Mod. 1944, T-34/85 UTZ Mod. 1944, and the Chinese Volunteer T-34/85 (shanghai Dragon release).
My question is what are the model/production differences in the Chinese version compared to the Russian versions and did the chinese version ever serve as a Russian variant?
The obvious differences are the wheels, but I am not sure if they used it on Russian variants in WWII.

No difference other than the decals and later wheels. If you want to backdate, I"ll even trade you the older style wheels for yours.

IIRC the Chinese Volunteer version doesn't have any post-war modifications and should be okay for WW2 use. Only the NVA model has post-war upgrades.
