My friends I’m glad that you liked,
I have a problem with painting, before two days I dyed (prime) basic grey, today I made certain shades with dark earth, next step:
1. Forget all and paint white, afterwards few shades, no wash.
2. Thin beam and white, wash and drybrush white.
3. Thin beam and 2 white - 2 Dark earth, afterwards 3 white - 1 Dark earth. . . . .
No clean white, wash and drybrush with white for lighting.
I look in 3rd solution because clean white appears to me little improbable in the conditions that acted, and as generally the white color pull as magnet the filth.

Sorry for bad English I use systran plus for translate GR -> English :-)

Hi Antony

Thanks for giving me a chance to correct an earlier mistake. When I wrote IFOR I should have put UNPROFOR, or in the case of the British Army contingent (G)UNPROFOR....

As an example of what peace-keeping can mean read this

Warrior

An interesting read there. I was part of 'A' Sqn Light Dragoons Grapple 4, which took over from 'D' Sqn LD in the Maglaj finger. A very "interesting" time in my life. Got a few pics of our Scimitars on patrol there if anyone is interested for their build, although this is fairly old history now.

Hello Max,

I was a Sgt. in Bosnia in 1994 with the Canadian UNPROFOR contingent.

I took part in an exchange with your unit in Maglaj taking the place of one of your Scimitar Troop Sgts. who was on leave. I think it might have been 'A' Sqn LD that was there at the time. I think I was with 1st Troop.

We came under mortar fire during a convoy escort and used a French Mirage that was doing training with the SAS nearby to go 'LIVE' and try and locate the mortar tube for us.

Your unit was great to work with and myself and my Troopers had a great time.

I would very much like to see your photos.

Hi Antony,

You're doing a great job on that Warrior.

It looks to me as though you have built the suspension out of the box - be aware that the road wheel arms need to be raised (7mm from memory).

Hope this helps.

NeilWB my friend the suspension is OOB built, now is too late to be raised, next time.

An other step was finish. I really need your comments. Thanks

Just that you made such a nice job of it and it is really easy just to rotate those road wheel arms. As you said - next time.
