Hello Antony

There are a couple of white Warriors in the pictures at the bottom of this page from Army Recogntion

Warrior

Plenty of detail shots of Warriors from Prime Portal

More Warriors

If you are building an IFOR Warrior with markings from the original Academy Warrior (not the Iraq 2003 version), then they were taken straight from one of the plates in this Osprey book

Warrior book

No problems with your English either

Hope this helps

Some books too.

From Concord, with photos and scale plans

Concord 7509

And Europa Militaria with photos

Europa Militaria 25

And to prove there is some use in TV, these shots from Ioan Gruffudd's website are from a TV drama about IFOR called, appropriately, Warriors

I haven't seen a real white Warrior, but I suggest it's likely to be closer to matt than silk.

Here is my Scimitar in the all "white" UN colors. I only did this because I had never done a white tank before. It was actually kinda fun to do.

Hope that helps a little.

Cory Sutton for the same reason I like to paint my Warrior white. I have in my mint to build some U.N. (Scimitar is the next kit) if I can find some information about the “white armor” .

Graeme Davidson Thank for your information.

The Warriors I saw in Bosnia in 1994 were flat white.

I never saw a clean vehicle.

They were always being used for patrols or check points.

Jason - If you have some photos of your Warrior dio you should post them cuz' you did a bang-up job on it. It would also demonstrate what one can do with the kit.

Cheers - Dan

My next Warrior will be with the Accurate Armour bar armour...I am just waiting for Bison Decals new set for Iraq deployed uparmoured Warriors to be released.

Hi Antony

Thanks for giving me a chance to correct an earlier mistake. When I wrote IFOR I should have put UNPROFOR, or in the case of the British Army contingent (G)UNPROFOR....

As an example of what peace-keeping can mean read this

Now I try to put some weld for first time in my model, who knows maybe for good maybe for bad, any suggestions

I would have done the welds before you put all the stuff on but I'm sure it's still possible but dangerous. I use two part epoxy putty.

The best pictures I've seen of white Warriors is in Warrior Company. Not too expensive.

Nice clean build so far.

When I began this project I had in my mind a simple construction from the Box,
however in the course and having a lot of photographs from original WARRIOR
and seeing certain errors from Academy, I decided to replace certain pieces and to add few details.
It is the first time where I attempt something like this.
The next step is a prime color but I’m not sure which color is the best (dark earth or dark gray or other)

This one is comeing along nicely, Anthony
I especially like the job you have done on the turret bin. I messed up mine a bit, when I cut my finger, trying to fix a bad fit

Cheers Erik

He He, no big deal.
My Warrior will be a ODS version when finished. I'm using a combo kit from AA which I bought several years ago. Here is a better pic. Still some work left before I can call it finished.

Lovely looking Warrior, Antony, great example of how to use reference material to improve a kit. I really like the extinguisher mounts on the back end.

Can't wait to see it painted.
