Hmmm,

Due to some personal problems I lost the mood to build for a while, I still was active on this forum and building my website, but my workbench just collected dust and clutter instead of models.

At last I got the mood back, I cleaned my workspace and am ready to go at it again.
My latest project was building a diorama of Operation Bodyguard 1943 and at last I had the opportunity to make some pictures, the quality is not to great and I promise to take better ones but here is my work so far.

Looks good ronny

Although the AA stand is not accurate it looks very good
Also the detail of the dummy sherman is very good. The leadfoil on the joints of the frame are really good looking.
I also like the idea of a dio with a different type of warfare (the more psychologic one) It are things you don`t see that often.
Keep up the good work and keep us updated

Definetly a one-of-a-kind idea. I like the whole concept.
Keep up the already great looking work.

Ronny
Great to see you back in the groove!
The updates are very good. I like the progress on the dummy tanks. Nice work, I remember the initial posts and you took that info and did some good stuff with it.

The AA stand is fine, in a dio with a guy on it only rivet counters will know.

I agree with the guys on this one.....very original idea. You are pulling it off very well so far. I can't wait to see the end results. The finish should offer some interesting oppurtunities.

I am really anxious to see the final results of this dio. What a refreshing idea! It is great to see someone really using their mellon to come up with a new idea for a diorama instead of the tank with people either pointing or smoking that everyone else (including myself) does. The only question that I have is why can't I come up with ideas such as this.

Maybe because I am afraid to build a real tank and goof up????

I don't know, I have several armor kits on the shelf, but the problem is that all my latest ideas are non-armor in a way.

This idea about the dummy tank came when I viewed a docu on the History Channel about this topic and then I started to look for info on the net and in books that I have, and just tought that it would be neat.

my other idea that is growing every day (well 2 actually) is a boxed scene of 2 explorers finding a prehistoric cave with rock paintings
and another of a underwaterscene of the discovery of a lost DD tank in Italy (also from a docu on TV)

I do have a M32 under construction which is staring at me

I personally like it. I would like to see more pictures from the construction phase.
