Hi there. This is my current project. It is Trumpeter's KV-1 Ekranami built OOTB. I started with a dark green basecoat and handpainted the markings with white enamel paint.

This is my very first attempt at doing a whitewash. I used ground-up white chalk pastels mixed with water then sloppily brushed on the model. I removed the excess pastel dust with several brushes including a make-up applicator. I haven't applied any washes and drybrushing yet.

I'm in need of comments and suggestions. Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks!
Joe

P.S. Sorry for the quality of the photos. The only camera available to me is a four-year old camera-phone. Believe me, the kit looks much better in person.

The bad news is that the slogan on the right side of the turret needs to read the same as the left, with the word in large letters (Bei = Crush) first each time.

Darn! I guess I would just have to repaint, then. Would you happen to know what the other words mean?

The slogan reads something like 'Crush the fascist toads!' (or reptiles, I've seen a couple of variations quoted)

Hi All,
It transliterates as: "Crush the Fascist Vipers!" Is that enough imagery or what?
Regards,
Georg
