Looks great. Good job. Are those the Echelon decals, or kit ones. Especially like the ammo can decal. Tamiya or Trumpeter kit? How about more info on it.

Its a beautiful build and even better to see my old regiments motto on the turret.

Hey Claude nice to see the pictures up here finally ...congrats on a really well done kit ...
For those who are wondering this is the Tamiya kit and the decals are from Bison...I highly recommend them.. Good job bud!

The tank looks great. What did you use for the sleeping bags? The detail on the tank is also outstanding

It's the Tamiya kit with Bison decals. The decal for the ammo box is from the kit.. Sleeping bags are by Accurate Armour.

Thanks all for your comments.

Outstanding build...I really like that ammo can decal also. The only thing I would question is the placement of the packs. Does the exhaust come out back there somewhere?

Somebody needs to do a whole sheet of ammo decals for 5.56, 7.62, 12.7mm (.50 cal), 20mm and 40mm.

It would be good to see some nice 25mm boxes (for Bradley, LAV, etc.) with good markings.

Again, great looking Challenger II.

Chipping was done with Maskol, a liquid masking agent made by Humbrol. It was applied with a specially "mangled" Micro-Brush (Black one)

If you go to my gallery you will see the steps I took.

Very nice build .... What color did you use for it, if you don't mind me asking?

How will I be able to reproduce that color if I were to use Tamiya paint?

Thanks a lot!

The mix is from Tamiya paints. 8 parts XF-59 desert yellow, 4 parts flat white and 1 part yellow.

This will give a light sandy color with juste the right amount of yellow in it for those british tanks.
