Hi all,
I've got for cheap a Italeri Leo2 kit and want to convert it into a A4 as I've read here and there that it was a A nothing.
Does anybody know what I should modify to have it looking a correct A4 NL version. I intend using the Legend set for the Dutch specific parts so I have another question. Are those small racks on the turret rear and the large bin on the turret roof used on the early A4 on are they valid for a A5-A6 only ?
TIA

Olivier
We bought Leopard 2A4s from the Netherlands, and I'm planning to do a decent walk around on one of the vehicles.
I built a Norwegian version a while back, using Revells A4. I'm not familiar with the Italeri kit, but I think the main difference is the sight and the TC peri. You have to change the canvas covered storage room as well since this is full of electronics and have a new armoured door.
However, we have not changed too much from the original Dutch version, so I can probably help you with some pics etc if necessary.

Revell's Leopard is based on the Italeri one, not sure how many changes Revell made in their version, may not have been many.

Hi Erik
any help would be appreciated. I tried the Twenot website but can't open the pictures
I read that the MRS was missing too.
What storage room are talking about, is it the turret bustle one with 3 straps on it ?

As stated before, the Revell Le2A4 it´s based on the Italeri Leo 2, but Revell updated the vehicle to the actual Leo 2A4 configuration, mainly reworking the turret, because the Italeri kit depicts an early Leo, don´t know wich one exactly, but I guess it´s a A0-A3.
cheers
