Here is my entry for the Wheels campaign. This is a ZIS-44 ambulance version and came from the Fort, an Ukranian producer.
The kit was a quite good one but the plastic was so hard, not easy to modify or work with it. The decals were awful, I didn't use them and painted manually..

Thanks for the campaign. It was fun to participate

Turned out great Alguhan,
I'm working on an Eastern Express Zis fuel truck, and the plastic is terrible. Instead of sanding smoothly, it's coming off in layers.... really strange, never had this problem before.

Yes, the same problem I've had. Is that a green hard plastic, too?

wowww.this is one of my favorite Russian vehicles.. and I see you did a great job on this quite good kit.i know the thickness of plastic and how hard to work with it. your painting looks very good and handwriting is always better than decals.
congrats brother
P.S: to be honest the only good part of this kit for me was the rubber wheels.

Engin, this kit had no rubber wheels. They were injected as well as the other suprues but with black plastic and separetly.. Maybe the one you've had had rubber wheels. This is I'm sure a newer product. Yours maybe have been produced when I was just a little kid

Nice build Alguhan! Painted on markings and handwriting indeed looks superb. Also the weathering and variations of green color all around the truck look really interesting. Only nit pick from me is the green on tyres?

At the moment I'm building zis 5 from zvezda, maybe thats the one Engin reffered to, as it has rubber wheels. However zvezdas plastic seems ok to work with, worst thing on that kit is fit of the parts.

Cheers

thamks for your kind words. Actually that green on the tyres is yellow made using pastel chalks. It seems to be green in the photos. The hole vehicle seems to be greenish. Maybe I couldn't make the adjustments of my camera good enough
