Here are all of the pics:
Anyway, the Tristar kit is pretty good but I have had to do alot of work to get it just right. I am using the entire Aber update as it is very good. The louvers are pictured below and are excellent compared to the kit part. I also hollowed out the small running lights to allow for MV lenses. Copper wire and bolt heads from the bottom of a Wespe were added for accuracy (the bolt heads are really small, like poppyseeds). Also, the suspention arm required a complete overhaul. Notice, the hollowed out part? It was solid so there was alot of work to put in the Aber parts. There is still some "cleaning up" to do as well as alot more Aber pieces to add. Being a self proclaimed PE expert, this is one of the hardest I have ever done.

Andrew,

You really have done a great work on your PzIA! You have put a lot of effort to enchance the overall and clean jobs as well. Can't wait to see it complete. Try to post some more pics about the progress.

Andrew, looked very nice, I like all the detailed work you put into this project, definitely beats my Pz 1 A by the look of it. You are a very detailed mind person, I salute you!

If you could only have seen me crawling on my hands and knees looking with a magnifying glass for the small parts
Thanks for the comments and I will post some more pics this afternoon.
Brandon, I still have a ways to go on the panzer 1 and exams are coming, when are you going to start with your Student Group Build Project?

Oberst:

Great pics showing your detail work. PE has always been intimidating for me so I appreciate the skills you are showing here.

A question for you, how do you apply your glue to such small parts, and not have glue residue showing up on your work (i.e. glue residue around the pe)?

Thanks, and I look forward to future pics on this project.

Well, my method for applying CA is to dispense a small amount onto a piece of paper and then use my exacto blade to apply the CA to the desired part. This allows for exact application in small amounts. The only drawback is that you have to clean the knife after each application.

Da P. Man,

I looked at your pictures again, because I am going to go whole lot on the Pz I A as well, I have to admit that this is very neat work. I hope my future attempt will come close to it.

Wait for the next installment of in-progess pics. They will include a rebuilt antenna mount, latches from Aber, workable vision ports from Aber, new, correct headlight wiring, more Aber bolts and hopefully an interior.

Andrew, when is the next installment of the pics, can't wait to see them. By the way, is the thingy on the suspection difficult to work with? and if you have any pictures for the visor for the driver?

Thanks!
