Ive had "little to no" modelling time recently, but heres the latest pics of my water truck. The first pics of the built model can be seenHERE.
Since these pics have been taken, the model has been gloss coated, has had decals placed, re-glossed and washed. It appears much darker now, but I want to make it dusty, so this will hopefully help the effect.
Cab and wheels are only placed for pictures. As usual any thoughts, comments or critic are welcome

Frank--long time no see--it's good to see your work again!
Good looking build as usual. How is this kit Frank, i.e. I'm interested in one, and was wondering if it builds properly or if you had to do a lot of tweaking on it?
Your pre shading is effective on the attached pics, and the mud/dirt inside the wheel wells and on the chassis looks authentic. Can you explain how you prep your mud/dirt, and then color and apply it. Looks very convincing.
Please keep us posted.
Good to see you again!!!

Hi Steve. Thanks for your comments. Its great to see you around and also have the time to make some posts .. been busy lately with the usual stuff ..job and home. Slowly but surely Im getting a little done.
Builds up quite well. No major tweeking needed. If you see the attached thread in the first post, some of your questions are answered there. It could be built OOB, quickly and easily, but I decided to add some pieces of the Eduard PE set and then add the side frames for jerry cans.
For mud and dirt see attached thread also. Its sprayed tamiya earth in these images, but has some overspray. The great thing about the granite paint is that it gives 3D dirt which can be washed and dry brushed, rather than trying to paint convincing 1D weathering.
All the best.

Hi Frank,
The kits looking really good. I like what you've done to 'brighten' it up, been following your posts. Italeri do make good trucks and boats for that matter as well.
Cool build, thanks for posting this.
Cheers
