I just enlisted! This is my first campaign, and I'm going to go with the Sd.Kfz.251/21 Ausf.D “Drilling” from Dragon. After all, it comes with the Achtung Jabo crew. If there's enough time I'll put them in a diorama.

Just opened the Sd.kfz 7/2 (Tamiya #35144) I cant remember how old it is, does any know when this kit was released? Any way I started it and just never got back around to it. As far as I can tell only ONE of the poly caps for the road wheels is missing. Plan to start this week or next. If I hit the lottery kits for everyone.

Rowan Baylis has just published an excellent review on Aeroscale of Rest Model's M-4 Ack-Ack gun and crew for those interested...

Here is my entry for the Actung Jabo Campaign, a 1/72nd scale Ostwind, still in the box and waiting for me to begin. Still not sure how I'll portray this rarely seen (in combat) vehicle. Probably start this week. (Hope the picture "shows.")

I have always been interested in Flak. By a coincidence I became aware of the campaign Achtung Jabo on Armorama (Today, Feb. 7, 2007).

The object on my workbench is an german SWS Flak 43 with a 3,7cm gun. I started to build the kit on Jan. 10th 2007. The SWS is sprayed with Tamiya surface primer and its ready for some serious airbrushing.

The vehicle will be positioned on a flatbedded railway wagon (Dragon: Schwerer Plattformwagen SSy) with some smoking figures.
