I am putting together a old WWII 2 1/2 ton GMC and had a few questions related to modeling this guy.
Where can I find any more realistic driver than the stock Tamiya kit?
Are there any good am decal or transfer sheets?

Hobby Fan and a few other resin figure manufacterers have suitable replacement drivers. Archer transfers should be able to supply new decals but, to my knowledge, there is not a replacement sheet just for the GMC.

Accurate Armour makes a set of white letters and numbers so you can make up any set of markings your little heart desires.

Like Cliff said, several AM manufacturers have released suitable figures like
Masters Productions :
one figure set (#35001)
2-figure set (#35002)
or Warriors :
Scale Model Accessories has released a set of dry transfer decals called "US Truck marking decal set" (#SMAP046) that could be worth a look (if I may say so, as there's no product picture on the site )

Thanks for the help guys! All of those look great and should fit the bill nicely. Now I just have to make up my mind which to go with!
