I found a solution. I am killing 2 birds with one stone, picked up the ICM anti terror in Aphganistan set. Modern US figures and the terrorist figures i pose with sheppards sticks instead of AK-47's. And it was on sale at Military hobbies, SWEET!! Now to make the water.

GF -you are ONE Persistant Guy~! i should hire you for my sales team! Again, we want to make sure Jim has the calender ready so we don't step on any other contests. I anticipate posting the rule the first week of March after the current context (Sci fi?) concludes on Feb. 28th.... no cheating now guys! I don't want to post the rules on March 1 and see submitted finished dioramas on March 2nd! :-)

Guys... just waiting for Jim to give me the go-ahead. Looking for a start date of March 15 with a finish on May 30th. As soon as jim gives me the clearance on the dates (so we don't maul other contests!), i will post the official rules of engagment.
One last question - I had bought a dremel cordless rotary tool kit to be the "prize" for the Spring contest... do we WANT or NOT WANT a prize award? The only caveat is that the winner would have to pay the postage!

Keith,
Those dates look EXCELLENT. I sent you a PM on the subject of prizes.
I look forward to this dio, and to see your surprise content element when the final campaign rules are published.

My troops are on alert.
Got some (well, quite some
) work to do to finish the sci-fi campaign, placing grass on junior's giant castle/dungeons&dragons dio, proofread 120 pages of annual report in 3 languages and try to avoid being hostaged tomorrow afternoon for "a breath of fresh air" as my wife calls it... but by the 15th I'll be ready for action.

Im definately in. Ive being trying to finish up projects since the last dio campaign and that is a pain in the ass! I hate having unfinished work lying around! I have said ... "no more kits this year". so I cant buy anymore until I build the stock of about 20 I have. Then IŽll have a free range to choose from.

Keith,
March 15 is getting darn close now......do we have a Go or No-Go at this..... My feelings say it's time we start something here....... Otherwise we might lose interest from other members......
What about posting rules today and set the final dates for start and finish......... yeah I know we don't wan't to bother other Campaigns, but it' can't that hard to get a starting date that does not interfere with other Campaigns.......
I feel we've got the need for speed....no more waiting...it's D-Day time again....... Diorama-Day that is....... and please.......if we waited any longer it could be Diorama Day on June 6 too......

Gentlemen, gentlemen...
I understand your impatience, and I share it with you.
The campaign guidelines have been entered to Jim for upload in the Campaigns pages several days ago by Keith and myself, and we await that to officially kick this off.
But I understand Jim is extremely busy at this moment (not just with Armorama, but also professionally
). He promised to upload this as soon as he finds the time. I'm sure he will.
Though I can't tell this officially, the rules look an awful lot like everything we discussed here above, so don't fear any sudden big changes.
So this dio2 campaign is not off, it is very much alive. Keep watching the "campaign" pages, it should be there any moment now.
Is that correct, Jim ?
