When I got out of modeling a few years ago I wanted to build a SU-76 but there where no decent ones on the market. Has any one released a decent kit of one? Are there any PE or update gets to help the old russian kits? I have one that was produced in Russia, I am not sure by who but it is very crude to say the least.

There's a new SU-76M announced from Mini-Art of Russia. They recently released an T-70 and it's been well received -- looking nothing like that existing SU-76 dog.

Alan did an SU-76 some years ago, then DML picked it up in thier Imperial line. The kit is a dog, absolutely terrible. The Miniart one promises to be very good based on the T-70. Just wait for them; I will be buying several of them myself!!

I know Dragon imports Mini-Art but are there any distrubtors carring them in the US? I have not been able to find them at VLS.

Maquette also make one, but avoid it like the plague. Each wheel has to be filed to fit the tracks, some of the softest detail I have ever seen in a model and also some of the thickest plastic details ever.
Took me forever to make something reasonable from it.
