That is a VERY broad question; what subject?
Campaigns
Auto-biographical
Armor and tanks/weapons
Overall history of the Easter Front
Fiction??
I think we need more specifics...

For tonnes of good reference pics, etc. look at the Armor At War Series from Concord. I have 4 books from them on the Eastern Front and they are excellent.
Look into them,
Andrew

One of the best book's, about one the best that Germany had. The elite Pz. Regiment Grossdeutschland !!!! The book only cost 's $45, which is actually "a drop in the bucket " for a book of this kind of quality.

Panzer Soldiers for God, Honor, and Fatherland: The History of Panzerregiment Grossdeutschland:
Period photographs, many never published before, coupled with a first-hand history of the regiment, written by one of its former officers! This volume traces the history of the tank formations with "Großdeutschland," starting with the battalion and culminating with the regiment. Panzerregiment "Großdeutschland" had the largest tank regiment in the German Army. In 1944 it had three battalions, one of which was equipped with the Tiger -- the only German Army regimental formation so equipped. Excellent accounts of the fighting, especially at "Zitadelle" and Targul Frumos. Superb late war photos, including Panthers and Tigers as well as interesting assault gun and Nebelwerfer images. 443 pp., 250 + period photos.

on the Eastern Front.
"Kursk" (The Greatest Tank Battle 1943) by M.K. Barbier, Brown Books 2002. Lots of pictures.
I got this one from the Military Book Club.
"God, Honor and Fatherland" (A photo historyof Panzergrenadier Division "Grossdeutschland" on the Eastern front 1942-1944 by Thomas McGuirl & Remy Spezzano, RZM Imports 1997. Probably "THE BEST" book in my collection. Full of pictures of everyday life of the soldiers on the eastern front. I got it for $19.95 through the Military Book Club. It's usually a $40.00 book.
You can order through the Military Book Club online. They are very good.
Hope this helped. Jeff
