Lee tracks were just like the Sherman tracks from what I understand, meaning they were "live" under tension regardless of moving or standing still.

And is it me, or is this moving machine's front and rear bogies lifted up towards the sprocket and idler? Is this normal?

It's likely that the tank is turning and the track on that side has braked, though without seeing the film it's not possible to be sure.

I am just starting an Academy Lee and it is so beautifully detailed inside that I decided to try to put an engine into it as the top and rear doors of the engine compartment can be made open too. Does anybody knows if there are any aftermarket radial engine for this Lee/Grant series? I would also be interested in barrels for the 75 and 37 mm guns.

I was watching "Sahara" just yesterday and I noticed that the Lee doesnt not have the cupola. Is it the British M3?And you are right the stripe and the stars are yellow for that time period just like the Stuart.

I'm sorry but that isn't correct. Lulubelle most certainly has a cupola. See the photo at the site below:

Lulubelle is a bog standard M3 (with the continental engine, I think).

One of the cool things to watch for in the beginning sequences is the M3A1, cast hull, Lee that shows up in a couple of shots.
