Hey everyone this is my first post.
I am starting a new project in 20mm. The figures are the TQD Wnter Germans. Due to the way they're armed...GW-43's and Stg-44's I am almost doomed to painting a late war force. I am aware that both S.S. and Heer stocks for the reversable padded uniforms could at the end come in a wide range of camo patterns but my concern is the mouse grey colour. I have seen them (art work) in a sort of brown grey and almost field grey. On the Colorado miniatures site I got a colour formula entitled: Gebirgs jager Anorak which I really like.
I guess I more just wanted to see what everyone's take on these uniforms was, just as much as talk about the colours used.
I paint with Vallejo and even though these are 20mm I don't over do the Highlights wanting the figures to look more realistic.
I love Braille scale.
