I am starting to work on the Trumpeter British AS-90 155 mm self-propelled howitzer.
My question regards what type of external stowage to use. The directions and decals are mostly for operations in Bosnia. All of the stowage kits that I have seen are for Vietnam or OIF.
Which would be closest?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Barry
You might be able to escape relatively lightly - the AS90 has a separate bin for each member of the crew to stow his gear in, which means that most of the visible stowage is confined to the mesh bin on the turret roof.
The MoD photoarchive has a good selection of AS90 photos to guide you
MOD photos
just search for as90 and you should find 80-odd views.
For proper British stowage, if you decide you still want some, try Accurate Armour who do lots in that line.

Niether is correct for modern British kit. Check out Accurate Armour for some. Also, DML has some moder-ish ('90's) kit in their British Desrt Rats figure set and in their SAS Boat Crew set.

Thanks both for your help.
David, thanks for the picture link. It looks like I might get out of it very lightly after all as all of the vehicles had their stowage under tarps. I want to try making tarps anyway, so it looks like both projects came together at the right time.
