Hi all,
Over the last several months i've heard everyone talking about how good Future polish is. I want to have a go, the only problem is where in England can you get it from. I've tried the nations largest DIY super store (B&Q) no luck.
Please somebody help.

I think on your side of the pond it's called "Klear" or "Krystal Klear".

It's called "Johnson's Klear Floor Polish" in the UK.

Hi sweatydogz,
Get it at a supermarket, Sainsburys definately has it. Find it with the cleaning materials. :-)

I got mine from Bainbridge (John Lewis) department store in Newcastle.

Huge bottle for only about £2.50, should last for ever.

This stuff has been around for years in the UK. We used to use it in the forces to add extra shine on our boots for parades.

Pete, you might have got away with that in the RAOC but if we tried it in the RE we would get hung. Bees wax and bull every time.

sweatydogz,
Found another outlet today, 1/2 litre of clear £2.39, from Home Bargains. www.homebargains.co.uk not bad for a few years supply of Klear. :-)

We would get hung too if we had got caught. It was sometimes a case of a night on the town or bull boots for the morning. The night out usually won, with a coat of klear on the boots and hope the inspecting officer didn't notice :-)

:-) Of course, if that was the choice then no contest. However when I was instructing at Training Regt, or on cadres and the like, I could spot Klear on boots at a thousand yards, then I did the hangin' LOL :-)

This stuff seems to be the bane of my life the first time i used it for it intended purpose (on a floor) i had to remove it. I was preparing my first quarter for handover and had given the kitchen floor a few good coats, lovely shine. The night before handover my mate tells me that the floor has to be free of any wax or coatings, no sleep that night trying to remove it

Hundreds of years ago, when I was a sprog, in Germany, every week for about 6 weeks we applied Klear to our barrack room floor, for the OC's inspection. The final week was the day before the annual fit for role inspection and the Brigadier would be inspecting the following day. The OC decided that he didn't like the finish, we had got some dust trapped in it, and we had to remove it. At least there was 4 of us :-)
