Quoted TextSix 106mm RRs loaded with beehive sitting inside the wire in any compound are going to make a serious statement to any potential attacking commander.

An Ontos inside the wire is not really a good thing. The back blast from a 106 recoiless rifles is huge! So nothing can be behind it and survive. Back in the day the absolute most feared behive round was from a Sheridan, and it wasn't all that nice to be next to. I probably didn't see ten Ontos tracks in my fifteen months over there

Oh, I agree that the backblast would have been pretty brutal and that the Sheridan't 152mm tube would produce an even nastier behive round, but you have to admit that the Ontos' outgoing fire was still much worse than the backblast and that the potential 6 really quick 106mm behives would be the cause of some serious consideration by an attacking infantry commander.
Given how few were in service, that you saw any Ontos at all would have been somewhat unusual, I'd think.
