Here is what I have been working on lately. This is the gun truck Iron Horse that was destroyed in Iraq and the crew walked away unhurt because of the armor kit that was designed and manufactured by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. This is a modular kit armor package that can be installed on most five ton vehicles. The gun box will fit any truck capable of carrying the weight. I built this model along with three more of the same and one of the Ace of Spades, the sister truck of this one. The trucks were assembled by the 1073rd Maintenance Company. The base kit is the modified Italeri M923 A1 Big Foot in 1/35 scale and the rest is scratch built using Evergreen plastic stock and and some after market accessory pieces from Tamiya and DML. The igloo can and the Coleman ice chest are scratch built from Evergreen also.

Very nice scratchbuild of a very interesting subject. What color did you use for the CARC paint?

Another great build, Dave
Good to hear the armor works. Are you planning to add some dust to the wheels? They seems allmost fresh from the factory to me.

First off sorry about the photo sizes. I used super high quality setting on my camera and I did not realize that they would come out this big.
I used a rattle can of Model Masters FS 33722 Modern Desert Sand.

Thanks for the kind words. I am leaving this one clean per the customer's request.
