I have finished some preliminary work on a Campaign module. You can see the work in progress here:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=indexIf anyone has suggestions on making it better please let me know.
Here are some of the yet to be integrated items:
• User Sign-up List : This listing would show all the people who joined this campaign
• Campaign Ribbon Info : This would show the ribbon that user would recieve for completion of the campaign. I also need to build a whole new Ribbon module to support this.
• Resource List : A way to add links for reference material specific to the campaign.
• Active Topics : A display of active group build topics in the forum.
There is probably more but I am beat.

Cheers,
Jim

Excellent! Perhaps now you can add a feature to my computer that stops time from passing in the outside world so I can get some building done. Either that or get me busted and fired so all I have to do is sit around the house and build all day.... well... maybe not.
Thanks for the feature!

Excellent idea Jim, now even new people to the site can figure out what is going on very quickly. I think these kinds of innovations will keep new people signing up and keep the regulars on their toes. GOOD WORK AS ALWAYS!!

:-) Very good idea Jim, can this site actually get better :-) Just one question, if I manage to finish all 3 109s is that 3 campaign ribbons or ribbon and 2 bars, or just a mention in despatches. LOL :-)

Hi Jim,
Great idea. And it looks great too!
Since you asked for ideas, I have one that might be worthwhile. Since you're going to add a signup sheet for the participants, how about having the ability to add a link to their gallery so we can view the entries in progress?
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Craig

A great Idea and your application of it looks great. I like the tie in ideas. and the fact that the idea is implemented into the site with a clear user interface.
again.. Great job on the site Jim and I hope the site continues to flourish under your leadership.

Hi,
Jim, another great job. You spoil us with such a great site allways getting better.
A small sugestion - in the page of the campaign the image of the ribbon awarded to those who finish the campaign will be interesting so that we can see whom have entered each campaign.
