Johnny,
I'm not that great with computers, but here I am on a government server. Sometimes when that happens to me (certain sights being blocked), I turn of the proxy under Tools, Internet Options, Connections, LAN settings. You might want to try that first. Don't forget to turn it back on though.

Hmm...well if they are blocking it by domain name, and not IP address (as would obviously be the case because all the sites are on the same IP), then just use the modelgeek.kitmaker.net domain and universal login on the kitmaker site.

ModelGeek is a gaming site! Scott will get a kick out of that. :-)

Cheers,
Jim

You must be using Websense at your job, I have the same problem here but with the other address I can get through. It's odd, it does that with some other sites too. Says message boards are blocked but I can still get to some and not others.

Funny, at my work I can access all but the Shipwright site!? Go figure?
The warning screen states that it is a inappropriate site.
(guess they don't like ships?)

Cheers,
Charles

It's probably popping up because the titles contain Model. As some "Model" sites are inappropriate. It only picks of a key word or words. Like [auto-censored]nal does here. :-) :-)

Yea, Websense is a nonsensical app a lot of times but it does serve its purpose.

The IT police at work also use Websense. It not only blocks Armorama, but sites like Foxnews.com. But hey, I could Ebay all day long if I wanted as it doesn't block that site. Go figure.
