Here are some progress pics of a kit i made reference to in the sow's ear to silk purse thread. The kit is IRONSIDES MARDER I on the French Loraine chassis. So far i,ve found my self pulling out my hair as i build it!!! the nice additions to the kit are the alluminum barrel and a resin transmission for the interior, which is needed for aligning many of the support bulkheads in the kit!!! so why am i putting it off here are the pics....................
Any suggestions are welcome!!!! Especially on what type of 75mm ammo to get for the bin, and a nice figure or nice set of figures to hid the floor in the fighting compartment!!! Thanks and enjoy my torment!!! stug

That's exactly what I meant when I started the 'silk purse , sows ear' post.. some project that would be soooo much easier to walk away from , but for some reason you just keep plugging.
So far so good, the barrel looks really good, and the fighting compartment shows all the efforts you've put in.
I really love finishing up a dog of a project and having someone ask if it is the 'new' good kit..
The downside is no one else knows how much work I put in.
