The Current Events forum will be closed until further notice. It's not really adding to the model making aspect of the site and I don't really want to see our forums get like RMS (rec.models.scale) where users are just outright rude to each other.

I was against the Current Events forum from the beginning. I am sorry to have been proven right about it.

Thanks Jimbo.. This modeling site was turning into Current Event site with people getting hungry for a quarrel. Not my cup of tea actually.. I'm glad Armorama will be about sharing modeling skills and tips again...

I thought the forum was interesting, but I did think once or twice that it was hitting way too close to home for my taste. The problem with that, for me, was I didn't let go of my feelings in the other postings the CE posters had posted to on other subjects. When I found myself doing that I steered far away from that forum, or tried to anyway. I'll echo the comments already stated here - thanks Jim for your outstanding taste and judgement!!!

I've never really ventured into the CE forum, I sensed it was not the place for the faint hearted and stayed out, but I think that was very bold and absolutley the right move to make.

Another indication of how well this site is run.
