(Hope this is what you were asking): It's a trooper from the British Long Range Desert Group (forerunners of the S.A.S), who operated in the Western Deserts in the campaigns there. VERY nice looking figure indeed....Jim

This figure is part of a set from Warriors, a VLS subsidiary.

He's clearly SAS, Jim. The jump wings over the left breast pocket are a dead giveaway. This character (a lieutenant, can't remember his name) with the full beard is one of the most heavily used personalities of the SAS. Have seen him modelled in Tamiya's SAS jeep, Salamander's "Elite Forces", and so many other books and sites.

In the States, Great Models has the two figures set at about $20. Do a search under "sas 1942" and it comes right up (along with a very nice Andrea figure)
