Or instead of going to the expense of purchasing that excellent book Jim, they could simply check out the link that I have posted above which has pics of Tiger 11s with AP hits on the glacis plates;)

Of course taking your argument to its logical conclusion, let's stop buying kits altogether and start rummaging in garbage bins for odd scraps of plastic, metal wood etc. and start REAL scratchbuilding...:-)

The link you provided was great Erin. However, Jim's direction to the Panzer Wrecks book is an excellent one. The more info the better.
I'd recommend (although they are hard to find), any of the books on the Lake Balaton battles (reprinted by Wydawnictwo Miliaria #121) as they are full photos taken by the Soviets of KOd German tanks.
