The PE stuff is about 10 bucks cheaper. But I'm wondering if it's realistic? Is it hard to apply over curved surfaces? That sort of thing.


Rico--IMHO, Atak is the best commercially available zimmerit product short of doing it yourself. Stay far away from the PE zimmerit. It looks way to uniform and is a royal pain in the a** to get it to lay down on curved surfaces.

What I have used often as Zimmerit is Wallspackle (damn that stuff is versatile)
It takes longer to dry then Putty, So you can work longer with it.
It costs ten times less then putty and then you have an amount for your life
It`s 30 times cheaper then PE zimmerit wich look too uniform. to my opinion

with that and an ordinary tooth pick you can make a lovely Zimmerit
