Seriously, Milo, what do you do for living? How do you find time to make all these kits OR how did become so fast?

Just to give you some history about this Abrams. The history comes from the Thunder Run Book so I'm supries that no one has said anything about it yet. So i hope that by saying this that I'm correct. Due the harsh desert ground this tank suffered a roadwheel shear while on the move towards an enemy target. Now roadwheel shearing was not uncommon in OIF, but losing more then one roadwheel perside was very rare indead. This tank suffered several roadwheels shears on both side at the side time, and it was later determaind the "ALL THE WAY TO BAGHDAD" was not going to make it to Baghdad after all, and it would be used for parts. so the M88 crew stripped the tank and took the gun barrel with its name on it all the way to baghdad. so in reallity the only thing that made it was the gun barrel, and some spare parts. So if your planning on putting this tank in a Dio as driving down the road in Baghdad, then it would not be correct. Also this tank had a mine plow and the MILES gear tape would have still been on it as well. Just to help you out with the real history. hope this helps with your project.

A little late. This has all been discussed before and he is building it pre-breakdown. If you haven't noticed, Milo is attempting to build all the tanks of A Co, 1-64 AR in Iraq. I think he is up to about 8 now.

Milo, who was blue? Do you mean black good sir? 1st Plt was RED, 2nd Plt was WHITE, and 3rd Plt was BLACK, or is 3rd BLUE????? And the HQ tracks didn't have any stripes.

Gino, can you confirm?

So for all you keeping track of who is buidling or built what:
Bob - A23 (built)
Myself - A11 (in the works) & A13 (in the box still)
Milo - A14 (in the works), A2? (built), and A3? (built)

There was one other making a Alpha track but i can't remember who and what number.

VERY BEAUTIFUL work Milo! I love the consistency of your paint job.

Would be nice to see the whole platoon on a diorama.

You mention that your work is your hobby...Are these tanks for yourself or are they comissioned builds?

Good for you that you can build for yourself...Your office must be pretty interesting in setup.
It must be fun to teach your son this hobby....I enjoy teaching my goddaughter.

Nick, in pre-planning the operation 3rd ID named each objective, including planned stops for refueling and rearming, etc. Objective Metallica was the staging area for some units prior to crossing the border.
