Ok here Guys here She is again
Ye ol` rusty Gal

Did some extensive Dremeling this weekend. Thinned all the walls of the vehicle down Till the holes came through it. Funny business. My room now looks like a tornado raced through it ( well clean that up tomorrow).
Now the outer hull is almost finished. HAve to scratch built a couple of things from the inside. ie The drivers seats, A new dash board as all the meters and stuff is stolen out.

Well enough talk for now. Here she is... Almost ready for painting

The whole vehicle is quickly glued together for the pictures so there may be a seam line here and there but don`t bother too much about that. This is going to be a lovely project. As usual comments, questions, Bad critics, good critics BRING `EM ON !!

You're getting there...a few more rust holes in there and it will truly look like some of my old cars.

Nice work Robert.

I take it from the hole in the passenger side air intake cover that you decided to have her knocked out. this looks as old as they get before it is just ore again. Nice job! Aint it fun to see what a dremel can do?!!!

Robert,

Are you not ashamed!!!!!! destroying a perfectly fine plastic model!! how dare you?!?!?!

....
.....
.......

Damn I am just jealous at what you did, I think that it must have taken some courage to start messing things up like that (you do it on purpose I do it always when I build stuff )

Great job Robert, just great, cant wait to see it ready and put in a diorama.

Ronny

To answer your questions.........
No I`m not ashamed that I so called ruined a great vehicle. I had the kit for years and I had the promise to restore it. But...... there was some stuff missing so I decided to make it all a bit harder. I had this vehicle so long and if I didn`t do what I `m doing now the vehicle would probably never be rebuilt so I`m satisfied with that.
And yes it took some courage to start as I don`t have my dremel that long and this was my test object. So no testing before on scratch. No immediately the big one :-)
Till now it`s actually going quite well
