I can't tell from the small photo, but are you sure it's a Grant? It is more likely to be an M31 ARV. I see what might be a tow clevis on the front of the differential housing, which might point to an ARV.

Well, the colour would be OD. As for markings, there appears to be a French tricolour on the front plate, which matches what appear to be French soldiers on the vehicle. I'd take a look for whatever French units might have been equipped with M31s (as I'm pretty sure none had Lees or Grants).
