Rudi Richardson (TAROK) has just posted news of the latest (and future) releases from Masterbox in 1/35th scale. Good news, in particular, for the U.S. builder with no less than THREE figure sets being annonced. The full story can be seen:

Rudi,
A really nice review, Masterbox seem to be looking to fill a niche with figures that other manufacturers dont produce. These will be a welcome addition to the Allied modellers who are looking for more figures to go with the current crop of Allied releases.

It somehow warms my heart to see some allied figures for a change.

A definite welcome addition in my books.

They look pretty good, at last some decent poses for the allies instead off just standing around doing nothing.

Really nice poses for US troopers Shouldn't there be a cooling water resevoir with the machine gun team? I always thought that was one of the big downsides of that weapon?
(down the list).........."hand to hand combat figure set".......
Very much looking forward to this set!
cheers for reinforcements lads!C[ ]

Hello all,

Nice set !
Here is a link to the painted machine gunner crew.

This site is very interesting, but in russian. An excellent russian painter, who paint the official Miniart figures often display his work.

When I bought their paratrooper set, I remember I had problems with the fitting between heads and helmets. It seems the problem is solved.

best,
Julien

The helmets look a little funny but those could easily be replaced by the extra Gen 2 helmets from DML provided in their US Ranger's re-release. But this looks like a great set none the less. I am especially excited aboutthe US infantry set. Great and unique poses!

Hi there

Thanks for the review.

They look good and useful for a lot of projects. I have made some of MB's figures, and there are really good value.

Cheers
