Don't know about the kits themselves but now I want to read some good old "G.I. Combat" and "The Bomb" comics :-)

Great M3 Stuart review ! I loved G. I. Combat as a kid. 12 cents for a comic book, not in this day and age ! Cheers-

Mike mentions the need to trim the one piece rubber tracks on the M3A3 (and posssibly the M3). Here are two pics showing the before and after. The rubber tracks respond nicely to CA glue, so once the three links are cut, rejoin them under the return roller, should hold nicely.

Great review Mike! I don't model 1/72 but when I saw the review was on a Stuart I had to read it. You had me at the first mention of G.I. Combat. That comic is also my reason for loving the Stuart, loving Olive Drab, and loving modeling. Back when I was reading G.I. Combat I'd guess 1/72 was probably the only game in town until Tamiya came out with their Stuart. That was back in the day when we were just happy to have a Suart at all, and didn't know, or couldn't care less if we did know, about all the accuracy problems with the old Tammy kit. This review has probably sold at least one of these kits, to me, and I'd guess many, many more to others here. Mirage ought to send you a nice commission check. Thanks for making my day.

Great review!
I just wanted to pop in and say that the Haunted Tank was created by writer Robert Kanigher and artist Russ Heath, not Joe Kubert. Kubert was one of many artists that drew the comic, but he didn't create it. Credit where credit's due and all that.
Cheers!

Thanks for the kind words on my review to all who responded, especially the correction on the originators of GI Combat's Haunted Tank series, namely Robert Kanigher & Russ Heath.
I have a correction on the links to order Atom Bomb comics - Catskill Comics no longer represents Atom Bomb comics. Go direct to Steve Mannion's website - http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZgophernugget
or use his ebay site - ttp://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZgophernugget
