Watch the pic's, all comments are welcome.
Yeah, I know, the paint job could better, but I've never built a dio like this before, so please tell my: 'good' or 'next time better'... These where my helping hands:

Hi, this is 1/72 ??
Nice Idea with this cover.
You have a wall in winter camouflage :-)
I think you need to paint your wall a bit. Take some grey-brown mix and paint the walls and to some RawUmber wash after it dried, i think your scene would benefit a lot from it.
The red on the barbed wire is a bit to red to be rust, maybe you can tone that town a bit. Ahh, now i see, you scratched the barbed wire, but forgot to colour the thinner . Hmmm ? How to rectify that now with the ssnow fixed.

Cheers
Claude

no, it's 1/35

As I told you, I don't like the painting
But, I'm proud that everything (exept for the figures, wich are cheap airfix) is self-made, even the hedgehog.

The blood looks way too red. Also, if he has been dead long enough for that much snow to be on top of him, I would think the blood would have either frozen, or soaked into his clothing and the surrounding ground. Either way, blood darkens to a very dark red pretty quickly when exposed to the air and elements.

Yes, that is really the most obvious thing. As it is now, it looks like a crimson cloth or cape or something.

You want to make the blood on the figure a dark dark brown, varying the shades, then throwing in deep red (like deep cherry red) moving out, and just a bit of 'brighter' (still not too loud though) red around the outermost edges. As well, a little bit of gloss will go a long way to show a wound that is either fresh or icing over...

Hi Captain,

I like your dio !
You've done nice scratch with the barbed wire and the hedghog ! and the snow looks convincing.
And evenmore, yeah, you're the first to have the same picture, the great Charles, like me !!

Best,
Julien

Hello again.

Nice idea for the sugar.
I didn't notice you made a glass pyramid to prtect your dio.
For the next time you could try "bicarbonate de soude", which ave very thin granular.
Best,
Julien

You know the Ferrero Rocher-chocolates?
They are packed in a plastic pyramid of 17 by 17 cm
and it's great for covering dio's!

Looks pretty good! In the future you may want to be careful about aligning your diorama elements with the edge of the base- "In positioning your model on the base you will want to observe an important rule: Never put anything parallel to the edge of the base." (Shepard Paine -How to build dioramas) This book is an important resource for anybody that wants to build military Dioramas-
