Great dio!
This might sound like a stupid question, but how did you do the snow? In your dio it looks like real snow. Whenever I try it, it looks like, well, whatever I'm using, but never like snow.

Hi Barry,
Good that you would post. Hope you are having a nice holiday season and aren't too deep in the white stuff.
Filip,
Thank you for your kind comments.
The base was done with cel-u-clay to form the basic 'ground' and the snow was made with Woodland Scenics "Snow" which I believe are micro balloons.
I applied watered down white glue to the areas I wanted covered and sifted the 'snow' onto the piece as if it were falling snow. This was done several times till the piece looked right.
I added more snow to the tank in areas where it would have normally accumulated.
Cheers and Happy New Year,
Charles

I love offbeat dioramas that bring about something besides drinking coffee or "the big shootout"..... Great concept, and fine execution!

Thanks Keith for the kind comments.
I attempted to keep this simple yet tried to get across the desperation and desolate feeling of defeat in the East.
Cheers,
Charles

Very well done. The snow looks freshly fallen, before it had a chance to pick up any icyness.I wonder about who might be trapped in the Tiger, since the hatches are closed, and there appears there was no one getting out.
