Just a couple of shots of my Stuart in progress. Will do the tracks next. Still have detail painting and weathering to do. Slow but steady I guess.
My side shots were too blurry. Those big red stars on that little turret look cooooool.

Patrick:
The M3 is looking good.
Regarding the interior. The white paint looks likes its covered really, really well. What brand do you use, and how many coats did it take to get coverage like that?
ps: My whites never seem to cover properly, so I'm curious what you are using--Thanks Patrick

Very nice!
I'd be interested in seeing more of the interiors. Can you post more of it?

Plmp110 - Looks good, I like the dry brushing on the highlights. Looks very cleanly built.
Two things I would offer suggestions on. The main gun looks like the barrel is not drilled out. If this is the case I would recommend drilling it out. To add more to the machine guns you could drill them out a bit more.
The second thing I might offer a suggestion on is handles for the hatches. Now this is totally up to your comfort level on scratch building things so its only a suggestion. I would look into adding handles for the inside of the hatches. Something simple, hobby wire bent to shape maybe flattened a bit. Monday I can send you a link to interior M3 details that might help.
Anyway just suggestions. Keep up the good work.

That looks really good....I have this kit as well and am looking forward to building it later this year, now even more so after seeing your work! Don't forget those light lenses....I'm sure you have that in your list to detail paint.

Thanks for the comments. I do intend to dirty it up a good bit. I have much detail painting to do yet. I will keep y'all posted.
I used Testors brand white paint. I applied two coats and got really good coverage. About the interior shots:

It looks like your starboard light guard was broken. You might want to see if you can find a cheap PE set to replace it. If it is broken, and you don't want to/can't replace it with PE, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll send you a repalcement, since I'll be using PE on mine when I get around to them.
Otherwise, this looks great.

Good eye, AJ. I've got the thing here with me and didn't notice that. I should be able to fix it.

I find when I look at an image of my own stuff, I'll see things I didn't see on the kit with my Mark I eyeball.

Most excellent work on the L-L Stuart, Dig those wild Russkie stars! So are you into torture, you going to do the individual links or are you gonna chicken out and do the Rubber Band route? Keep us posted on the progress.

I hate to be called chicken, but cluck, cluck. I tried a to put a couple of those indivduals together and I do not see torturing myself with those things. Anybody want them?
