This is a dio I'm doing showing an IDF jeep passing by a destroyed warehouse on it's way to a convoy to North Israel on August 9, 2006. The pic below was the only one I found of that convoy. I know there isn't a warehouse in the pic, I just used my imagination.

Here's what I've done so far:

The jeep is an Academy M151A1 Shmira (w/c I now know is an incorect name for the vehicle). The barrels are from Tamiya as well as the dog. The trash bin is scratchbuilt using styrene and vinyl. The building is made from layers of vinyl floor tiles glued together, broken in areas to depict damage, covered in wall putty and then sanded. It's still missing windows and the roll-up door...does anyone have an idea or suggestion on what the windows should look like??

...still a long way to go. comments are very welcome.

Early stages look good, lot of interesting little bits to fill the space.

Looks good. Great work on the building. It really captures the feel of the middle east IMO.

Thanks for sharing

trahe, TIMETODOIT: thanks. The materials I used for the building are VINYL FLOOR TILES, and the ground cover and rubble are just PLASTER OF PARIS. These materials are available at any hardware store. I'll take photos of them soon.
