There was a campaign some years ago that focused on building M1-series Abrams tanks called, ironically enough, "Abrams ID". I was wondering, given Dragon's recent and future releases and the renewed interest in the forums, if there was any interest in a sequel?

I'd really like to see this campaign happen, but I will not be able to participate. I have two Stryker projects and an M113. It will probably be two years or so before I can get to my Dragon Abrams.

I would be in. I can pick up an Abrams for about $25 at my LHS.

Count me in. 3 Abrams kits waiting in the stash. I will save the Dragon's AIM kit for later, but still I can pick either the early Tamiya or Dragon's 2003 OIF kit.

There are two campaigns now that can fit an M1 in, desert and OIF.

Thanks Kevin. I was going to mention this when this got bumped up, but I figured I'd see how this panned out. I honestly don't see this campaign happening.

I think, I would join as well. I would probably go for some winter camo on a M1.

Anyway, if there are a lot of campaign suggestions a vote will clear out what campaigns will go ahead.

I would be in also have 3 or 4 M1A1 and A2's sitting around.

But would need to be a long time campaign say 4 or 5 months.

Still game.

It seems like there is enough backing for this one to get a place in the voting poll.

I have never build an Abrams in 1/35 so this would be a great excuse

After seeing all the specials on the Military Channel about the M1 I would be up for it. It would be nice to see it as a winter campaign though!

Interested?

Overwhelmed?

Yes to all three.

Gary, I will kill you yet, but it'll be from humvees not an Abrams ! I kinda killed this a couple months ago mostly because I forgot both the OIF and Greatest tank campaigns. So no go on this for a while. But hey, you always have Wheels and Tires YAY!
