I thought this would be a fun way to see how ArmoramA has affected your progress in the hobby. .#:-) As near as I can tell, this hasn't been posted before... (I didn't know if this should go in General Modeling or Site Talk, so I chose the latter option)

Since joining ArmoramA:
1)How many kits have you purchased?
2)How many kits have you started working on?
3)How many kits have you finished?
4)What new tools, that you asked about here, have you purchased?
5)How many times has your spouse-friend-parent-or-realtive hit you over the head for buying more model stuff? (or how many times have they wanted to?) :-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) I've probably purchased more than 40 kits.
2) Work has started on about 12 kits.
3) Sadly, this number for me is 4
4) My airbrush (Paasche H) and compressor (CH FP2003), along with other items like Bare Metal foil, different glues, sprue cutters, clamps, etc.
5) None so far - I think my parents are going to let whoever my future wife is handle this part of the hobby.

Feel free to add more questions!

1) About 30
2) About 25
3) 13
4) An Aztek 4709 airbrush, numerous paints, brushes, and accessories.
5) I've lost count, but my head is still ringing from today's filling in #:-)

YodaMan - Nice post - I've actually been thinking about this topic just never about posting anything - thanks

Lets see since joining the big A -
1 - I've purchased roughty 12 kits. To put on the pile of 20 or so.
2 - I've started somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 or so.
3 - I've finished somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 or so.
4 - No tools - Techniques - to many to count - to many color mixes, pastel uses, scratch build methods, diorama ideas, inspiration, ......
5. - Gosh - If you add how many times do your loved ones want to pop you on the head for spending time with plastic vs. them - Ouch - way to many. They usually win though. That's why 3 is so low.

I'd like to add - I've made Colonel here and continue right on to one star. I've written an article, I've written a review, I've put together a number of photo binders, I've entered my first contest.
Armorama has helped and continues to help in endless countless ways. So that means you guys and girls have helped in endless countless ways.

:-) Hi YodaMan,
Since joining ArmoramA:
1) None but I've been bought 1
2) 6
3) 7
4) None, but I hope to get a new airbrush this year. I've had masses of help and inspiration though.
5) Well I'm out of work at the moment so even if I wanted to buy (and I do) I cant. If I did I would be dead.

Lets see..

1.) 3 armor kits, 2 conversions for those models and couple of 1/35 figures
2.) 1 armor with a conversion set and some figures
3.) hmmm... 0? All are in various stages of construction, but none really finished.
4.) no new tools here..
5.) just couple of times.. I'm happy to be surrounded by people that like my hobby (they even bought me a kit for christmas)

5) 0 hits / 4 near misses / far too many times that she wanted to.

2002 Totals

Much improved I would say.

I guess I could add another line that says, "How many times have you gotten "The Look" for buying more models?"

Eek. I got 'the look' when I told my mom Hobby Lobby was having another 1/2 off sale. As I said in my other post, I think I'll limit myself to the Dragon Wagon, and stop buying kits for a while. (ha ha haaaaaaa.... that was funny! #:-) )
