Wow I can't believe that you are already done! that is amazing. I've been modeling for about 2-3 months and haven't finished one yet. But obviously that is because I am a newb, but still that was pretty damn quick. This is only a suggestion so please don't take offense but mabye weathering under the bedsprings more would look good but any way nice job man!

Hiya Biffa,
Great looking monster you've created there!! Specially when you take in mind you started only ten days ago...
The color looks very convincing, and the weathering of the tracks is spot-on....Do you mind sharing your method with us?
One little nit-pick; The white air recognition band on the turret could use a bit of down-toning in my opinion...But then again, it could be the pic's and the lighting playing tricks with me...
Thanks for sharing,
John.

Thanks guys i appreciate the comments,
Hi Trevor, no offense taken here your comments are welcome, the weathering under the bedsprings is there but i think the bedsprings seem to be obscuring it.
Hi John, the white band seems to glow because of the lights, in RL it is ok, i tried different ways to photo it,
Here is the link to the step by step build log which includes the chipping and weathering of the tracks

Nice work Ron! I'd recommend you submit your "how-to" as an article so it can be preserved, some very nice description/write-up there that should be helpful to many.

Thanks Bill and Miloslav, Bill i would really like to submit it as an article but when i went back through it there is over 150 images all done in a step by step format and im not sure how to condense it enough so that it would still make any sense :-) , im not as articulate as a lot of folk around here so any advice would be welcome.

Awesome looking tank Ron - not only fun following along, but also learned some new things, some different ways to do some other things, and sat amazed at how fast you finished it - it actually gets me wondering if I "overthink" things and need to just plow right through sometimes!
Outstanding!

:-) :-) I can just see the crew taking those screens off at night and using them as nice, comfy beds.. :-) :-) Looks really impressive. I can't get over the way you've made the brass look like weathered steel.

Another fantastic build Ron, and it was fun to follow the WIP thread. With the speed you moved along it was like hourly instead of weekly updates! :-) Considering how 'plain' a T34 exterior is, the bedsprings and the weathering in all the casting texture really makes it look amazing!

That thing is so awsome! The quickness and efficeincy of how you build your models makes me jealous. What color did you paint the bedsprings and what color was the light wash for your tracks?
Again... Awsome!
Thanks,
Aaron C.

Great work. Makes the T-34/85 look very different with those bedsprings. Congratulations on a great result.

I was curious about the bedspring color too. Ron also used the styrene tie downs instead of the PE ones, I was thinking about doing the same thing as the PE ones look too thin, even though its a pain to cut them from the sprues. They'd probably hang and bend on the brush doing a wash too.

Great looking beast Ron! The paint job and weathering looks fantastic! Im not at all knowledgeable about Russian armor, so dont know if this would be a helpful suggestion, but would the bedspings be a bit rusty? I think it would add some use to the look of it. Even if not, it still looks super!
