Just wanted to express my grattitude towards good ol' Jim for reinstating the front gate!

I just noticed that as well. It sure is nice to be able to see who is at "home". Thanks Jim. We appreciate it!!!

Since the site has been running without the dreaded memory errors I thought I would see if it will not cause a problem. It was certainly a contributing factor before.

Sorry to disappoint everyone temporarily, but I had to remove it again. If you hadn't noticed the site was again loading very slowly today and this evening was locking up as it had done in the past. This module is just too really poorly written, and while I was going through it tonight I realised that is why the site is coming to a creeping crawl when it's on. So until I can re-write the function you will have to be patient.

I will remind everyone again that the "members" page also shows all users that are online.

It's allright Jim, I like the feature, but am just used to going to the members page, which I will continue to do for now. We are all patient folk and will wait for the improvements that will get here eventually. We already know this is the best damn site on the web, you don't have to prove it to us again.

Okay. I redid the code to hopefully be a bit less memory intensive. We will have to see how the site fares with 50-60 users on it tomorrow.
