Very nice, Alan, very nice. Great weathering and clumps of dirt and dried mud. Looks like it is crusing down a country road in Normandy. The tools, superb. And I like the chalk marks on the side of the turrent.
Great kit, amigo

Hi Mike,

Many thanks for your kind comments. This one will be leading my troop of IG tanks in a Normandy dio.

It was based on this reference picture:

The AA update set came with some nice periscope guards but unfortunatelt they proved too spingy for me :-) :-). , now being enjoyed by the carpet gramlins!!! However, I've tried out Brad's 'make your own' and that method seems to work for me so I'll be adding some before final placement. I also finally managed to organise the crew driver/co driver so they need to be added.

It was another fun build and my first attempt at using any PE. The new AFV Club kit is long over due and will be a nice addition to the Allied side of things when it arrives.

Henk,

Thanks for organising the pics, nice layout.

Cheers

Al

Hi Martin,

The kit arrived without tracks lol, lol, and as they would need replaced anyway I used a set from the Academy M3 and the spare set of solid road wheels.

Hopefully the new AFV Club version will be better.

I also used the breech from the AFV M3A3 Stuart which I plan to make into a recce vehicle some time.

Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyd it.

Cheers
