This is my last work... a M-1 Abrams with winter scheme color used in the '80s in Europe exercices. The kit is Tamiya´s old model with many modifications...

Good looking M-1 Carlos. Interesting to see an old school Abrams for a change.

Very good work. It is very close to the original picture. Good research and good choice.

I like it! Very unique and different subject way to go!

Hi Carlos,
Nice job. Certainly different. Any idea why the top of the tanks wasn't camouflaged? I'd go

Hello
His scarce camouflage is due the exercise to which one completes to wintry ... season beginning or termination we Can see in the real photo the not much snow in the land.

Your M1 looks very good!
I just have a question about the brown areas on the top of the tank. Is this supposed to be a rust or dirt? It looks very realistic for old heavy rust, but obviously it can't be it, so I guess it's dirt.

The superior seccion of the tank is dirt of sludge and mud... because the tripulantes devised one them to soil it all...

That's a beautiful model. Reminds me of my winters in Germany. All the ice cold mud stuck to everything and everywhere.
There was no camouflage on the upper surfaces because we were mainly concerned with ground forces.
The bumper markings look like the Ft. Knox Armor Center markings and not of a unit that would be participating in exercises in Germany, but that's OK and I could be wrong.
Great looking Cold War tank!

I love it! What a change of pace from the more recent versions of the M1. Now I have to build one!

Looks great! Don't see them modeled often in anything other then NATO 3 tone/Desert schemes.
