Am looking for accurate 1/35 scale antenna mounts for Viet Nam/Cold War era armor. Any ideas?
Would also like to find the two-section main antenna used on Viet Nam/Cold War era vehicles.

I just ordered some antenas for a few bucks off military hobbies. I have no ideat what they are other than they are made of wire, it was only a couple bucks so I thought it was worth seeing what they are. I will let if they will fit your needs when I get them.

Verlinden made some modern ones eons ago in resin. I don't know if they're still IP, but you might want to cruise around the VP site.

I just thumbed through my Verlinden 2002 catalog and the antennae mounts are not listed. That is too bad. I would have liked to have gotten some. I had a set a few years back and they were very well done.

I've got a set kicking around somewhere. It was called "Flashlights and Antenna Mounts" or something around those lines. I remember giving Chuck Bush (cfbush200) a whoopie light from the set. Give me a day or so and I'll dig it out and let you know what is included in the set. Might help you decide whether or not to go looking for it. BTW "flashlights" was the Verlinden word for whoopie lights, or RAWLS (Rotating Amber Warning Light System).

I got the VP antenna set off eBay and of course paid too much. Accurate Armour makes a set that comes with their M113 LRV conversion set. The set I got had extras but I contacted Derek and he said I could order 4-5 runners at 4 mounts per runner for 5 pounds. Now all I need is a big enough order of other stuff to justify the shipping cost.

I have used the spring out of an empty bic lighter.. Take the thumbwheel off and pull out the flint. the spring used is tapered at each end... Cut to the desired length and stretch some sprue.. May not be authentic, but it does not look to bad
