With all the ballistic glass showing up on up-armored vehicles in Iraq, I was wondering if anyone had come up with a convincing way of recreating the slight blue-green tint of this material. I've been playing aroung with Tamiya's Clear Blue and Clear Green, but I'm not crazy with the results... small bubbles, uneven color, etc.
Also any ideas on how to capture the look of the polarized(?) glass used for M1114 windshields?
Thanks,
Brian

Maybe tinting Future with a drop of food coloring, and dipping.
Haven't tried it, just a suggestion.
I have tinted a canopy using this, so see no reason it wouldn't work on flat glass.

I've been having the same problem with HUDs. One possible solution (form the part of the manufacturers) would be to tint the plastic. The problem with paints is that you can't make the surface even. The best results I got so far was ~spraying~ "tinted" gloss (or future) in very light coats. (It would be great to be able to buy tinted foil similar to Bare Metal.)
