Hello gents
I haven't shared pics of my In-Progress figures for a while...
Here's a couple of images of Brit/CW tankers I'm working on
at the moment. Comments are welcome!

Hi Taesung,

Good looking figures and I like the chap leaning over with the helmet, rather than with a beret.

The more Brits the better :-) :-)

Thanks for sharing excellent work.

As a thought for the future would it be possible to have a driver/crew driver coming out of the front hatch? The drivers/co driver sets available are very boring, even someone pointing or waving would add a little interest.

Very nice figures indeed.

Cheers

Taesung,
Excellent work. You can really see all the layering involved with the sculpting.

Glad you realized the topic creation problem was fixed as well!

Cheers,

Gday TS
Glad you decided to go out on a limb with some more allied figure sculpts. The photos tell a thousand words as to how you develop the figures layer by layer
How long from this stage until production?
Cheers

Amazing workmanship, down to the pipe in one figure's pocket!

How about some tankies in denim overalls too?

Hello Gents
Thanks again for all the kind words. It really helps me to
make better figures

Come on, guys. I didn't go out on a limb or anything to make
these figures. Almost half of Alpine figures are non-German!
Let's not brand me as "the German figure sculptor"

These figures took me about a month to finish. It was faster
project compared to my previous ones, thanks to all the detailed
pics of pixie winter oversuit from Mr. Ron Volstad.

Hi TS,

Nothing could be further from my mind. I just bought a set of the Alpine British Tankers having given up on seeing any new plastic injection ones and the detail is great., I highly recommend them.

These two will be a welcome addition to an already excellent range of figures.

Like kids with sweets, we just want more :-) :-) :-) Again thatks for sharing, two more to add to the buy list.

Cheers

hehe sorry if I was a little ambiguous TS, but what I meant by 'Allied' was more in the vein of meaning Brit/Comm. figures, as we all know they occupy only a sliver of the market... And refreshing to add that these don't have a mug of tea/coffee in hand!

lol! I think there is a definate train of thought that the brits and commonwealth troops liked to have a cup of tea, probably because it's true (i'm drinking one now!)

Great figures by the way, as always great to see the brits being depicted, and very interesting to see the figures as they're sculpted, keep up the good work Taesung!

These figures look awesome, even before they are complete. What a talent Taesung. I Know you have produced Modern US Tanker Figures any chance of some Modern UK figures.

Hmmmmm - lets see 2 a month, 12 months per year - so about 24 new Allied figures on the way this year, climbing in and out of tanks/hatches, dragging wounded comrades from burning vehicles, pointing and wavling x by 3 for desert, summer NWE and winter :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Look forward to the next installment!!!!!!!

Cheers

pointing and wavling

Well he WAS keeping to schedule until the 'wavling' got the best of him and his sculpting talents
I like your rivmitick though. Fonely it were possible...
DEFINITELY time for a new set of figs bailing out of a brewed up Sherman... Something along the lines of that DML set for one of those eastern front battles (Kursk?) with the German tankers dragging themselves out of harms way whilst still under fire... Could be a goer...
Cheers
